Borgo al Sole climbs up the gentle sloping hillside
at the base of Mount Ferro taking advantage
of a natural slope to create a structure on several
levels, and underground as well. At the entrance,
accompanied by elegant wood sculptures the visitor
is quickly received by a suggestive play of reflections
and transparent spaces created by the entrance's
great glass windows. Climbing up the wide wooden
stair, emmersed in a magical and silent atmosphere,
one can not be overwhelmed by the complexity of
the geometries and the depths of space that are
in your view.
Once on entering inside the
building, you can go anywhere within the complex
easily. At Borgo al Sole, each of the buildings
- even if they are completely autonomous and accessible
individually from outside - are conveniently connected
to the other buildings of the complex and to all
of the services and the garages through through
the use of a network of underground connections
that permit easy access throughout.
